North Roe


Shetland

A scattered settlement in a district of the same name at the northern end of Northmavine in Shetland, North Roe lies 6 miles (10 km) north of Ollaberry. It is the most northerly village on the Mainland of Shetland. The village benefits from a community hall, a primary school (1878), with seven pupils in 2012, two churches, a shop and a pier on Burra Voe..
