Pirnhall

Stirling

Lying at a junction on the A872 road in Stirling Council Area, 2 miles (3 km) south of Stirling, Pirnhall was once a centre for making pirns or weavers reels. It is now a service location associated with the junction of two motorways immediately to the south. Pirnhall Inn dates from the 18th Century.
