Ruthvenfield

An 18th-century textile village in Perth and Kinross, Ruthvenfield lies to the south of the River Almond, 2 miles (3 km) northwest of Perth city centre. Ruthven House to the north was built c.1800. Close by are the Huntingtower Bleachworks (1866) and 15th-century Huntingtower, a former stronghold of the Ruthven family.
