Cowie
StirlingOne of the three 'Eastern Villages' of Stirling Council Area, Cowie is situated to the southeast of Bannockburn. A former coal mining settlement that was also associated with stone quarrying, Cowie's economy now depends on small scale industry and the manufacture of paperboard and other related timber products.
