Village Shop and Post Office

Originally located on the route of an old drove road on the opposite side of the River Balvag, modern Strathyre developed on its present site with the coming of the railway. Situated in the heart of Stirling Council Area, 24 miles (38.6 km) northwest of Stirling, it is a centre for exploring Balquhidder and Rob Roy country.
