A ferry port on the Sleat Peninsula of the southeast of the Isle of Skye. Armadale Bay lies immediately to the north, with the early 19th C. Armadale Castle and the Clan Donald Visitor Centre, a half-mile (1 km) beyond. Armadale receives a year-round vehicle ferry across the Sound of Sleat from Mallaig.
