Letham Grange
Angus

A commuter settlement of E Angus, Letham Grange is a green-field housing development, located 2½ miles (4 km) north of Arbroath on the former Letham Grange estate, part of which was once the property of "Honest George" Dempster of Dunnichen (1732 - 1818). Housing was developed in various phases from the 1980s and surrounds a 19th century country house in a fine parkland setting, which is now a hotel. Sporting facilities include two golf courses and a curling rink. Beyond these, this settlement does not have the facilities of a traditional village.
