Mid Yell
Shetland

The chief settlement of the Shetland island of Yell in the Northern Isles, Mid Yell lies to the south of Mid Yell Voe (formerly Reafirth) at the centre of the island. Now an active fishing port, it has two fish factories, a leisure centre and a boating club. The A 968 road connects Mid Yell with Ulsta at the southern tip of the Island, which has a ferry link with Mainland Shetland, and with Gutcher in the north and the ferry to Unst.
