Argyll and Bute

A settlement of two parts on the western lobe of the Cowal peninsula of Argyll and Bute, Melldalloch is located 2½ miles (4 km) south southwest of Kilfinan and 3 miles (5 km) north of Portavadie. It comprises a group of houses lying a quarter-mile (0.4 km) northwest of Loch Melldalloch and a holiday village lying a half-mile (0.8 km) to the west, above the River Auchalick. The holiday village consists of a number of wooden self-catering lodges, surrounded by forest.
