Scottish Borders

A hamlet in the Scottish Borders, Clovenfords lies on the Caddon Water, 3 miles (5 km) west of Galashiels. The novelist Sir Walter Scott often visited Clovenfords and William and Dorothy Wordsworth stayed at the inn in September 1803. A railway station operated between 1866 and 1962.
