An industrial location in S Ayrshire, Grangeston lies 1½ miles (2.5 m) west of Old Dailly and 2 miles (3 km) northeast of Girvan. A munitions factory was build here during World War II and operated by ICI Nobel on behalf of the Ministry of Supply. It has subsequently become the location of a distillery and has been developed as an industrial estate.
