Carminish

A small settlement on the southwest coast of South Harris in the Outer Hebrides, Carminish (Gael: Cairminis) is located a half-mile (1 km) northwest of Strond and mile (1.5 km) south southeast of Leverburgh. The Carminish Islands lie to the west in the Sound of Harris.
