A crofting township on the southeast coast of Great Bernera, Kirkibost (Gael: Circebost) is located 2 miles (3 km) northwest of Callanish, overlooking East Loch Roag. There is a pier at the northern end of the settlement to land crustacea harvested from the sealoch.
