Plocrapool (Plockropool, Plocropol)
Western Isles

A small settlement on the east coast of South Harris in the Outer Hebrides, Plocrapool (occasionally Plockropool, Gael: Plocropol) is located ¾ mile (1.25 km) southeast of Drinishader and a similar distance northeast of Scadabay. It was only well into the 20th century that this settlement was connected by road. Plocrapool Point extends into East Loch Tarbert a half-mile (0.8 km) to the east northeast.
