Balla (Am Baile)
Western IslesThe southernmost of an agglomeration of townships which forms the major settlement on the island of Eriskay in the Outer Hebrides, Balla (Gael: Am Baile) lies in the northwest of the island 5 miles (8 km) south of Lochboisdale (South Uist). The township of Rubha Ban lies immediately to the north.
