A location on the edge of the Dalbeattie Forest in Dumfries and Galloway, Richorn lies 1¼ miles (2 km) south of Dalbeattie. Richorn House lies to the west of the A710 road, with a farm at Little Richorn to the north. Cycling and walking routes proceed through the forest from a car park here.
