A location in the Ettrick valley of the Scottish Borders, Cossarshill lies 2 miles (3 km) west of Ettrick. A small settlement lies at the confluence of the Cossarshill Burn and the Ettrick Water, while Cossars Hill rises to 462m (1515 feet) immediately to the northwest.
