A location in E Fife, Pitcorthie lies 1½ miles (2.5 m) north of Kilrenny and 2¼ miles (4 km) west of Crail. The location comprises the farms of Wester and Easter Pitcorthie, with a 2.1-m (7-foot) high standing stone, known as West Pitcorthie Standing Stone, located between.
This location should not be confused with two other Pitcorthies (located further west), which both also have standing stones.
