A settlement on the east coast of South Uist in the Outer Hebrides, Sandavig (Gael: Sanndabhaig) is located to the south of the entrance to Loch Carnan, 4 miles (6.5 km) east of Geirnish. The settlement has developed in conjunction with the Loch Carnan Power Station, which lies immediately to the southeast, which improved the road which leads into the area.
