Logie Durno

A locality and ancient parish in the Garioch district of Aberdeenshire, Logie Durno lies a mile (1.5 km) to the west of Whiteford and 2 miles (3 km) east northeast of Oyne. The parish is now known as Chapel of Garioch and centred around a settlement of the same name located 2 miles (3 km) to the south southeast.

Logie Durno church has its origins in the 12th century and its remains lie at the centre of a churchyard, with Logie Elphinstone House to the south. Logie Durno Primary School dates from 1875 and is located a half-mile (1 km) to the east, to the north of Whiteford. It was extended in 1905 and modernised in 1986. Logie Durno Hall lies adjacent.
