Pittendrum


Aberdeenshire

A location lying immediately to the south of Sandhaven on the Moray Firth coast of Aberdeenshire, Pittendrum comprises farms at Mains of Pittendrum and Netherton of Pittendrum. Mains of Pittendrum House is fine Category-A listed Georgian farmhouse, dating from 1734 with three storeys and two modest wings. It was built by Cumine family but sold to Sir William Forbes in 1787.
