A small crofting township in the extreme west of the Isle of Skye in Highland Council Area, Waterstein is located 2½ miles (4 km) west southwest of Glendale. The small Loch Mor lies a quarter-mile (0.4 km ) to the east and Waterstein Head lies a mile (1.5 km) to the south southeast.
