A community in NE Fife, Mount Melville lies to the east of Craigton Country Park and comprises a residential development occupying former estate buildings associated with the former Mount Melville Estate, together with new-build houses. There was once a railway station here, which opened on the Fife Coastal Railway in 1883, but this entire line closed in 1965.
