My great grandfather John Taylor was born in Cobairdy in 1840,he married a Jessie Nairn[when?] born in Dufftown.He died in New Zealand in 1898 and she in Australia in 1935. John was a mechanical engineer and his father James was a plough and agricultural implement maker.I have found my family then were Bretheren. In my searching I have been unable to find Cobairdys actual location,photos,history,does it still exist? Also,could someone suggest how to find more family information,it would be much appreciated. youre,s faithfully Bob Taylor
