BP continued to run the adjacent Kinneil Oil Stabilisation and Gas Separation plant, which receives crude oil through the Forties Pipeline System from the North Sea, and passes much of it to the Grangemouth Refinery for processing. However, these assets were also sold to INEOS in 2017 for $250 million.
