Behind the church are the Laurie Halls and the Lyall Memorial Garden. The former provides a hall, rooms and vestries and was built in 1962 on the site of an old workshop. It is named after Canon Albert Laurie. The later was established in the 1960s and named for Margaret Ann Lyall, whose husband had bought the site on behalf of the church. Her ashes are buried here along with those of other members of the church. The rectory is Lauder House, located a short distance to the east on Jeffrey Street, beyond the Jury's Inn Hotel. This is named for Cornelia Dick Lauder, an early benefactor of the church. It dates from 1887, designed by architect James Lessels (1834 - 1905) in the Scots Baronial style. The house was divided in the 1970s to provide a separate flat for the curate.
