Glen Scorrodale

A substantial valley located towards the southern end of the island of Arran, Glen Scorrodale extends 5½ miles (9 km) southwestwards from the head of the Monamore Glen above Lamlash to Sliddery on the southwest coast of the island. The former First Minister Jack McConnell (b.1960) was raised here at Glenscorrodale Farm, now the Samye Dechen Shing Retreat Centre.
