The middle of three lochs in N Mull, known together at as the Mishnish Lochs, which have become connected when their level was raised to form a reservoir, Loch Meadhoin is situated between Loch Carnain an Amais to the west and Loch Peallach to the northeast, 2½ miles (4 km) southwest of Tobermory.
