Gairie Burn

A small river of N Central Angus, the Gairie Burn issues from the Loch of Kinnordy, receiving the Moss Burn after a short distance and then flows east through the town of Kirriemuir where it once powered linen mills. It then turns south southeast across the Valley of Strathmore to join the Dean Water 1¼ miles (2 km) northeast of Glamis Castle having completed a course of 6 miles (10 km).
