A loch in the Inverness district of Highland Council Area, Loch Duntelchaig lies between the Great Glen and Strathnairn, 3 miles (5 km) east of Loch Ness. Its depth extends to more than 60m (196 feet) and it empties into the River Nairn through the much smaller Loch Clachan.
