Tongue Bay

An inlet on the north coast of Sutherland, Tongue Bay represents the outer section of the Kyle of Tongue to the south, from which it is separated by sandbanks lying 2 miles (3 km) northeast of the Kyle of Tongue Causeway. The Rabbit Islands and Eilean nan Ron lie across the entrance to the bay.
