East Cairn Hill

East Cairn Hill is one of the Pentland Hills which lies on the boundary between West Lothian, the City of Edinburgh and the Scottish Borders. The principal summit rises to 567m (1860 feet) 7 miles (11 km) southeast of Livingston, while a secondary summit marked by a cairn reaches 561m (1840 feet) a half-mile (0.8 km) to the west northwest. The pass of Cauldstane Slap separates this hill from West Cairn Hill (562m / 1043 feet).
