Loch Roag (Loch Ròg) A large sealoch littered with islands on the west coast of Lewis in the Outer Hebrides, Loch Roag (Gael: Loch Rog) is divided by Great Bernera into West Loch Roag and East Loch Roag. The name Loch Roag is itself applied to two distinct bodies of water; the first lies to the southwest of Great Bernera and narrows to form Little Loch Roag (Gael: Loch Rog Beag), the other lies to the south and west of Eilean Kearstay, to the southeast of Great Bernera, at the mouth of Loch Kinhoulavig.
