Vacasay Island


(Eilean Bhacasaigh)

A small uninhabited island in the Outer Hebrides, Vacasay Island (Gael: Eilean Bhacasaigh) lies in East Loch Roag, a sea loch on the west coast of Lewis in the Outer Hebrides. Vacsay rises to 29m (95 feet), off the east coast of Great Bernera, a half-mile (1 km) to the northwest of Keava and 1¼ miles (2 km) west northwest of Breasclete.
