Lussa Loch

A reservoir surrounded by forest in the centre of the Kintyre Peninsula, Argyll and Bute, Lussa Loch is located 5 miles (8 km) west of Saddell and 6 miles (10 km) north of Campbeltown. It receives the Bordadubh Water and the Strathduie Water and is the source of the Glen Lussa Water. Completed in 1952, water drawn from the reservoir is delivered by a pipeline to a small power station in Glen Lussa. Lussa Loch also supports a brown-trout fishery.
