East Craigs

A residential district of W Edinburgh, East Craigs lies 1¼ miles (2 km) west of Corstorphine and 4½ miles (7 km) west of the city centre. East Craig Farm was bought by the Board of Agriculture in 1920, becoming a seed-testing station and eventually Science and Advice for Scottish Agriculture (SASA), until they moved to Roddinglaw in 2006. East Craigs site was subsequently developed for housing by Cala Homes.
