A prominent hill in NE Angus, the Hill of Edzell rises to 228m (748 feet) between Glen Lethnot and Glen Esk, 2 miles (3 km) northwest of Edzell. Edzell Castle is located on its southeasterly slopes and the West Water flows to the south.
