The Ard

A headland protecting Loch Leodamais from the south, The Ard lies immediately to the south of Port Ellen on the south coast of the island of Islay. The point of Rubha a' Chuinnlein lies at its end. Caolas Eilean nan Caorach separates The Ard from a line of offshore rocks and islets.
