Located 2½ miles (4 km) east northeast of Thurso, Clardon Head is a modest headland which represents the easternmost extend of Thurso Bay within the Caithness district of Highland Council Area. The inlet of Clardon Haven lies immediately to the east and there are sea-caves nearby.
