A craggy hill ¾ mile (1.2 km) southwest of the east coast of Islay. Sgorr nam Faoileann rises to 429m (1407 feet), a quarter-mile (0.5 km) south of Gleann Ghaireasdail and a similar distance north of Gleann Choireadail. It is classified as a Marilyn.
