A rounded summit located within the Cairn Edward Forest in Dumfries and Galloway, Cairn Edward Hill rises to 325m (1066 feet) 1¼ miles (2 km) west of Loch Ken and 2½ miles (4 km) south southwest of New Galloway. This hill has Cairn Edward and a fire tower at its top. The Raider's Road passes to the south.
