A remarkably flat and wide ridge which extends east northeast for a mile (1.4 km) from Carn Liath to Coire nan Gall in the Badenoch district of Highland, A' Bhuidheanach reaches 966m (3169 feet) 2½ miles (4 km) north of Loch Laggan.
