A hill in the centre of the Ardnamurchan peninsula, Meall nan Con (meaning "hill of the dogs" in Gaelic) rises to 437m (1433 feet) 3 miles (5 km) north northeast of Kilchoan. Its summit is marked by an Ordnance Survey primary triangulation pillar installed 1948-49.
