A summit of the S Scottish Borders, Dunion Hill rises to 332m (1092 feet) 2 miles (3 km) southwest of Jedburgh. It comprises a dolerite volcanic plug of Carboniferous age, which is much denuded by quarrying activities. Dunion Hill is connected by a ridge to Black Law, a half-mile (1 km) to the southwest.
