A modest summit located in the southwest of the Kintyre peninsula (Argyll and Bute) Cnoc Reamhar rises to 273m (895 feet) 4½ miles (7.5 km) south southwest of Machrihanish and a similar distance north northeast of the Mull of Kintyre. Its eastern slopes are cloaked by plantation forest. There are two other hills named Cnoc Reamhar in W Argyll, one situated 22 miles (36 km) to the north northeast and another 48 miles (78 km) north.
