A summit surrounded by the Knapdale Forest on W Argyll and Bute, Cnoc Reamhar rises to 265m (869 feet) 2 miles (3 km) southwest of Crinan. There are two other hills named Cnoc Reamhar in W Argyll, one situated 22 miles (36 km) to the south southeast and another 48 miles (78 km) south.
