An elongated summit at the centre-west of the Oa peninsula on the island of Islay (Argyll and Bute), Maol Buidhe rises to 166m (544 feet) to the north of Glenastle Loch and 1½ miles (2.5 km) northwest of Coillabus. Its secondary summit, a quarter-mile (0.4 km) east southeast of the first, reaches a height of 165m (541 feet) and is marked by an Ordnance Survey triangulation pillar.
