A complex hill with many summits in Dumfries and Galloway, Culvennan Fell reaches 215m (705 feet) 2¾ miles (4.5 km) north northwest of Kirkcowan and 6 miles (10 km) west of Newton Stewart. There is an Ordnance Survey triangulation pillar at a height of 213.6m / 701 feet.
