An extensive hill, comprising multiple summits, the Hill of Nigg lies between the settlement of Nigg in Easter Ross and the Moray Firth coast, 7 miles (11 km) southeast of Tain. It descends from a maximum height of 205m (672 feet) to steep coastal cliffs, which are "pierced with caves and fissures".
