St Vincent Street Church, Glasgow

St. Vincent Street Church, located on St. Vincent Street in Glasgow's City Centre, was designed and built by Alexander 'Greek' Thomson in 1859 and is a mixture of various influences; Egyptian, Greek and Roman. Built in a similar design to the Caledonia Road Church (which lies derelict now) with a Greek temple, tall tower and huge plinth, it is the only one of Thomson's churches standing.
